- ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
- These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Thunder Lawns, LLC (“Thunder Lawns,” “we,” “us,” “our”) website and services. By accessing or using our website and/or scheduling services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our site or services.
- COMPANY AND SERVICES OVERVIEW
- Business Name: Thunder Lawns, LLC
- Nature of Services: We provide all-electric lawn maintenance, including but not limited to mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing.
- SCOPE OF AGREEMENT
- Use of Website
- You agree to use our website lawfully and responsibly. You will not engage in malicious activities or provide inaccurate information.
- You must be 18 years of age or older and either own the property being serviced or be an official tenant on its lease.
- Service Eligibility
- Services are offered only in advertised service areas. Thunder Lawns reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service for any property outside our coverage zone.
- Use of Website
- SCHEDULING AND SERVICE POLICIES
- Recurring Scheduling
- We strive to maintain a consistent schedule for weekly or bi-weekly visits. However, we offer “week of” scheduling to allow flexibility around weather and other uncontrollable factors.
- We do not guarantee specific days or times, unless agreed to separately in writing.
- Weather Disruptions
- If severe weather prevents us from completing scheduled work in a given week, we will reschedule the following week, unless it is a weekly service plan in which case we will refund that week’s service charge. Due to the recurring nature of weekly service visits, we do not “make up” a missed service the following week.
- Lead Times
- We aim to notify customers at least two hours before arrival. This is not guaranteed but is our standard practice.
- Cancellations & Changes
- You may cancel service at any time via our online portal with no fees, unless you cancel a recurring plan after only one visit. In that case, we charge the difference between the recurring rate and our one-time rate.
- A minimum of one week’s notice is required for cancellations or plan changes. This allows us to adjust scheduling accordingly.
- Pausing Service
- We do not offer a formal “pause” feature. However, you may change or cancel your recurring plan online at any time with one week’s notice. No additional fees apply except as stated above.

- Payment Frequency
- Weekly or Bi-Weekly plans: Payment processes at booking and at the start of the service week (Monday), regardless of your actual service day.
- One-Time services: Payment is processed at booking.
- Payment Methods
- We partner with Stripe to handle payments securely. We accept major credit cards, ACH, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Amazon Pay. All payments are automated.
- Failed Payments
- We may retry unsuccessful payments several times. If all attempts fail, we mark the invoice as unpaid, cancel any future recurring service, and may send the account to collections.
- Price Changes
- Thunder Lawns reserves the right to change service rates. We will provide email notification in advance of any price changes.
- Payment Frequency
- LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
- Property Access and Safety
- You are responsible for unlocking gates, restraining pets, and clearing large debris. If our crew cannot access a portion of your yard due to locked gates or unrestrained pets, we will service what we can and charge the full-service fee—no partial or full refunds in such cases.
- Please ensure the property is safe for our crew. Inform us of any hidden hazards (e.g., uneven ground, wiring, or sprinklers).
- Damages
- We take reasonable care during service. If a sprinkler head is damaged, we will replace it—on the spot if we carry the part, or on your next service visit.
- We are not responsible for damages to items left on the lawn (toys, furniture, etc.) that are not removed beforehand.
- Weather and Force Majeure
- We are not liable for delays or inability to perform due to events beyond our control, including severe weather, power outages, natural disasters, or other force majeure circumstances.
- Disclaimer of Warranties
- All services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, except our customer satisfaction guarantee (where we may offer a complimentary re-service if you’re not satisfied).
- Environmental and Research-Based Advice
- Any claims about environmental benefits or research-based lawn care methods come from reputable sources; however, results vary by lawn. Thunder Lawns makes no absolute guarantees regarding lawn outcomes.
- Property Access and Safety
- USER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accurate Information
- You agree to provide accurate and truthful details regarding your property (lawn size, address, condition, gating, pets, etc.).
- Property Condition
- You must maintain a reasonably safe environment. We are not liable for injuries or damages arising from undisclosed hazards.
- Accurate Information
- MOBILE SMS
- The Thunder Lawns mobile message service (the “Service”) is operated by Thunder Lawns (“Thunder Lawns”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.
- By consenting to Thunder Lawns’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Thunder Lawns through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).
- You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Thunder Lawns. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.
- We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.
- You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You’ll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Thunder Lawns mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.
- For Service support or assistance, text HELP or email info@ThunderLawns.com.
- We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honoring requests made in such messages.
- The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.
- To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.

- INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
- Thunder Lawns retains all rights to its website content, images, logos, mascots, designs, and any other intellectual property. You shall not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of our branding or site content without prior written consent.
- TERMINATION OR SUSPENSION
- Thunder Lawns may terminate or suspend your service at any time if you fail to pay, behave abusively toward staff, keep aggressive pets unrestrained, or otherwise violate these Terms. We will endeavor to notify you of any termination via email.
- GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas.
- Dispute Resolution: Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved by binding arbitration in Bexar County, Texas, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. Judgment on the award rendered may be entered in any court having jurisdiction.
- CHANGES TO TERMS
- We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates the current version. By continuing to use our website or services after any changes, you accept the revised Terms.
